Our Corporate Social Responsibility vision is to “Be leaders in responsible management; in ethic procedures and results, having a positive impact in our people, customers, suppliers and communities.”

Activities and awards

We work with a Corporate Social Responsibility strategy that includes dialogue, consultations, communication, and action plans focused on our stakeholders: associates, clients, suppliers and communities.

We have a very active corporate program of volunteers that balances out the needs and the interests of our community, our associates and the business. During 2008, 84% of our associates enrolled in our community programs, benefiting public schools and health centers in all the communities in which Cargill operates.
